High-quality blocks for a luxury residential complex in the heart of Tel Aviv

Adjacent to the Kirya complex in Tel Aviv, two 42-storey residential towers rise above the city skyline, connected by a suspended pool. The complex, built by Ashtrom Engineering & Construction of Ashtrom Construction, comprises 412 residential units, a nine-storey office and commercial building, an inner courtyard with an ecological pool linking the towers to the offices, and five levels of underground parking.

 

Ashbond supplied 11,080 sqm of 10 mm gypsum blocks for partitions, enabling convenient and efficient construction without the need for beams and with minimal material waste. The project’s tight and demanding schedule required meticulous planning of the structural works, and Ashbond’s unique block helped shorten both execution time and costs, as it is based on dry construction with no need for plaster or waterproofing before painting or tile installation. Ashbond’s gypsum blocks created monolithic gypsum partitions that combine the structural strength of conventional masonry with the smooth, uniform appearance of gypsum.
